New Member FAQ

What is the registration process for new members?

1. Join our New Member Waitlist (currently closed)
2. Wait for an email from registration@cbswimclub.ca offering you a membership.
3. The next steps in the process of becoming a member will be explained in the email you receive from our Registration Team when you are offered a membership.

Am I on the waitlist?

You are on the waitlist if you filled out our waitlist form and received a confirmation email prior to June 2023.

Do I have to reapply to the waitlist every year?

No. You do not need to reapply for the waitlist. It will keep running continually throughout the years and you will be offered a membership when we have capacity.

How long will it take for me to be offered a membership?

As of May 2023, our waitlist has over 1000 families. We will have the opportunity to offer new memberships as current members leave CBSC. The number of new memberships available will vary each year. Movement off the waitlist is currently very slow. CBSC is operating at full capacity in almost all areas of our programming. The one area in which we have some program availability is for younger children, born in 2020 or later. Any new memberships will be prioritized for families whose children all fall within this age group.

Do I need to participate in Online Enrolment?

No. Online enrolment is for Returning Members only.
