Week 3
The Sun Keeps Shining, Yay!

This week the temperatures were rising, the sunsets were beautiful and postcard worthy, and the summer heat was on and continues throughout the weekend! As we head into the last week of July lessons next week, there is also lots happening as lessons ramp up towards the July Regatta, Tennis Tournament and Swim Gala. The adults will be having their own fun Saturday night as nymphs, centaurs and fairies descend upon us at PNO under an almost full moon. In a world of chaos and unpredictability, the CBSC calendar thankfully remains the same (phew!). Read on so you don’t miss out on any important details.

Swim and Tennis Fun Days!

Get ready for July FUN DAY! The Theme this month is UNDER THE SEA! Dress up in costume and join your coaches in your regular lesson for candy and surprises! Fun Days will take place on Thursday, July 25, Friday, July 26, and Saturday, July 27 during your last July lesson!

August Lessons Start on Monday, July 29

Are you considering a change in your family’s August lesson schedule? Any refund requests for withdrawing from a program must be received in the office two business days prior to the start of a lesson. The deadline to withdraw from August lessons that begin on Monday, July 29 is 9am on Thursday, July 25. A $10 administration fee will be applied to all withdrawals. Please come in person to the office or email: info@cbswimclub.ca

REMINDERS

Lost & Found

Check out the lost & found near tennis courts 3 & 4! Lots of towels, clothing, shoes, water bottles and goggles. After the July Gala, it will be cleared and donated.

Sunscreen and the Pool

We know how important sunscreen is, but wet sunscreen can cloud the pool and leave a greasy film on the water. To protect your skin (and our pool!), make sure to apply your sunscreen at least 15 minutes (30 min is better) ahead so it can absorb into your skin before entering the water.

Wearing protective sun gear will help too. Our pool, and our facilities team will thank you!

We’ll see you tonight – 7:00pm at Footraces, followed by Pentathlon #2.
