Week 1
It Was Worth the Wait!
Every year the anticipation of another CBSC summer is what gets us through the winter, and Week 1 was well worth the wait. Where else can you do sailing, swimming, triathlon, tennis and water polo all in one day, just to name a few?
Hopefully your kids are nestled all snug in their beds each night, good and tired; while visions of Sally Seahorse is dancing in their heads.
The Seahorse Picnic Thursday night was a hit. There were lots of fun activities and contests, and the coaches and staff did a fantastic job. It was great to see so many families coming together and join in the fun.
If the first week is any indication, this summer is going to be epic!
SWIMMING
Things have been going swimmingly for swim! Emails have gone out this week from head coaches with specific details for each program.
First swim meet is this weekend – good luck to all of our swimmers!

SAILING
Sailing Class availability – get out on the water!
Quest Orientation
A new CBSC sailing program designed to give new sailors the opportunity to experience the sport of sailing without the time commitment of other courses like sail green. It’s smaller class sizes and in-boat coaching will allow more direct coach to student direction.
Overview
Quest orientation will be a small course spanning 6 hours over two days. It is designed to give new sailors the opportunity to try sailing without the major time commitment of sail green or other courses. During the course, students will be divided into boats of three students, and 1 coach/leader. The coach or leader in the boat will give the students direct, immediate feedback, and help them to progress their skills during the limited time frame of the course. The course will try to teach the students the very basics of CANsail level 1, just enough to get them skippering safely, and enjoy their time on the water. Born 2012 or earlier
