Beach House Theatre presents…

Enjoy theatre in our own back yard at Crescent Beach! A beautiful setting for a night out with friends and family.

In the great tradition of classic Italian slapstick comedy, The Servant of Two Masters is all mischief and mayhem, lost love, disguises, mysterious murder plots, pen fights and more!

This masterpiece was originally written by Carlo Goldoni over 250 years ago and then adapted and modernized by Tracy Young and Oded Gross. A huge hit at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in 2009, this wonderful script is now coming to life at Beach House theatre.

The Servant of Two Masters is the story of the loveable Truffaldino, an always hungry servant who schemes to serve two masters at once in hopes of doubling his wages and his meals. He desperately works to keep his masters apart in order to conceal his deception. Meanwhile, the daring young Beatrice has arrived in Venice disguised as her late brother in order to find her lost love, Florindo. Florindo is also seeking Beatrice but neither one knows the other is there. The town is turned upside down with disrupted weddings, revenge plans and silliness galore.

For the first time at Beach House our show will feature a few comic musical numbers and is sure to be another big hit with our audiences.
