2010 Sailing Courses
Sailing 2010
The CBSC Sailing Program is designed to foster enthusiasm for sailing. Creative and energetic instructors create a fun and active learning environment for our young sailors. Both beginning sailors and those returning to increase their skills will be individually challenged and rewarded as they achieve success throughout their courses.
Our curriculum follows the internationally recognized Canadian Yachting Association’s (CYA) Learn to Sail program. We offer the first four levels of the CYA curriculum as well as additional courses to give sailors increased opportunities.
Class sizes of 12 students with 2 instructors allow for excellent sailor to coach interactions. Our fleet of Pirates is in excellent condition. The Pirate is a widely recognized training boat. Your child will receive excellent instruction in a safe, dependable dinghy. We are happy to announce that this year there will be no written tests. All skills are demonstrated on the water, which means no more memorizing and more time on the water.
