Adult and Child Tournaments:
"Adult and Child" and "Parent and Child" tournaments are held at the end of each month. Children should sign up giving the age they will be on Dec. 31st, 2010. These tournaments are designed to allow children to experience some competition in a non-threatening environment. Adults, particularly when playing with younger children, are expectedto keep the ball in play and avoid making winning shots. This is an excellent way to enjoy the game of tennis with your child and meet other tennis playing families. All players must be CBSC members.
CBSC Junior Tennis Tournament:
The CBSC Junior Tennis Tournament takes place in the last week of August in lieu of formal lessons for all August lesson players (except for PADDLE TENNIS). During tournament week, August lesson players will have an opportunity to compete in at least two events against other CBSC members of the same age. Times will vary during this week. This is an excellent introduction to tournament play for players newer to the game and a wonderful competitive finish to our summer for more experienced players. July lesson players may also enter the tournament for a $15 fee. See coaches for more information.
Tennis Ball Machine:
The tennis ball machine will be available throughout the summer for a modest fee. There will be an information and sign-up sheet on the tennis bulletin board during the first week of activities.
